Eastern Rainbow Dance Troup is an independent dance performance group that has classes through OCACA. It has the Eastern charm as well as the bright Chinese nationality style of performance to present on the US stage. Its dance is similar to the Eastern Rainbow Dance Troup, which is where this troupe got its name.

Dance training content:

  • Dance basic skills, balanced feeling and controlling force training;
  • Hand, eye, body and rhythm, music coordination;
  • Various Chinese ethnic dance, Chinese classical dance step elementary action, the stage performance trains and stresses the end product dance rehearsal.

    Participation theatrical performance:

    The performance group's members will have numerous opportunities to wear the fine eye-catching Chinese nationality and classical dance clothing in each performance, which include school, community large-scale activity and traditional folk custom culture performance.

    President of Eastern Rainbow Dance Troup and dance instructor: Yanie Koch, held the post of dancer in the China Dance Troupe and has participated in various literary performances the organization arranges. Currently she is a HuaXia Chinese school children and adult dance instructor and the adult fitness class teacher.

    OCACA invite Ph.D. Edwin Pak-Wah Leung as Artistic Consultant, who is professor and chairman of department of asian studies in Seton Hall University.
    OCACA also invite artistic director QingYang, who is president of HXPAT, director in dance and performing arts master in art of teaching, a member of China dence association, a teacher at HCST, Jersey City, NJ.
